Pier is a Windows 10/11 app that mounts Nextcloud, ownCloud and any WebDAV server, SFTP and NFSv3 exports as a real drive letter, so Explorer, Office and backup tools see an ordinary disk. Files are fetched in blocks into a local cache, so only the parts you open cross the network. Interrupted transfers resume, the drive reconnects after a Wi-Fi drop or VPN reconnect, and offline mode keeps working from the cache. Pier Backup for encrypted versioned backups is included.
